![]() ![]() The design seems hellbent on splitting the difference between the PlayStation and Xbox controller styles: It has Xbox face button lettering – “A,” “B,” “X,” and “Y” – but the bumpers and triggers are labeled “L1”, “R1,” “L2,” and “R2.” Its wide body and large handles scream “Xbox,” but the symmetrical thumbsticks read as “PlayStation.” There are three buttons in the middle – “Menu,” “View,” and a “Home” button marked with a picture of a house. Overall I'd give the game a 6/10, but I would not recommend it due to it getting boring and repetitive down the line. The Nimbus+ looks about as generic as they come. The aiming indicator is also red on red which made it unclear when it would pop-up. ![]() The only visual aspect that I did not like was the boss fights which, while visually unique and very entertaining, relied too much on the color red to the point where it was sometimes confusing what's red because it's just red or what's red because it means danger. ![]() It's not all bad however, the visuals are nice in general and it is a pretty charming game. ![]() In fact the majority of the game I spent on the ground and what I would have loved to see more is perhaps more movement speed buffs besides the one granted by that one spirit. for another half of an hour or so.įurthermore, the optional puzzles which grant you more eagle flaps feel pointless, as never have i found myself in a situation where i thought to myself "I wish my eagle could take me even higher". The concept of the game is run around, do very basic puzzles, fight boss, do that 4 times, fight one more boss.Īfter defeating the 3rd boss, i thought I would get to the ending of the game, but it was revealed to me that there is a 4th spirit to aid, at which point i just gave up on the game not wanting to repeat the same running around and doing the mediocre puzzles. At first the concept was interesting, running around and shooting the talismans to move, but after doing it for 3 hours and realizing that that's 90% of the game it feels a little stale. ![]()
